Élevage de Rouboy offers boarding facilities for all hunting breeds but priority is given to dogs that come from their breeding if necessary.
TRAINING
At élevage de Rouboy, formal training for hunting starts at the
age of 8 months.
- Their natural ability in terms of cooperation and desire to hunt
- The obedience achieved
in terms of: recall, walking on leash etc.
The cost for training is 500$ a month and includes feeding, exercise and two daily training sessions.
A minimum of 2 weeks
training is needed for the dog to get accustomed to both the new environment
and trainer.
We also offer individual sessions where master and dog are trained together ; the cost is 50$ an hour.
At élevage de Rouboy, no need for the so- called E-COLLAR, considered to be a draconian correction device. What we do use are both POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT and PATIENCE.
