Hemmingford is located in the former Huntingdon County in the southwest area of Quebec Province, about 45 minutes south of Montreal near the US border.

The database was compiled mainly from readable gravestone inscriptions from all the following known Hemmingford and area cemeteries, with the exception of the first Catholic cemetery, which has no remaining stones.  (This cemetery was used from c. 1830 to 1843.)

The cemetery records, which total more than 6,000, are combined and sorted by last name.  Death dates range from 1808 to 1994 +.
