Tears Over An Angel

Love has eluded me once again.
My life is empty as whence I began.
My heart has a hole and I ache inside,
for no one has offered to stand by my side.
I gave my love to failing hands,
and fell to the ground like a dying man.
There is no one for me why must I try,
all I can do is crouch here and cry.
I walk alone and forever I will,
